Responsibilities:
- Provide technical design advice / review and evaluation of projects for code compliance with the Egyptian & International fire and life safety codes throughout all project design stages.
- Develop thorough and clear design analysis, summary of code requirements and life safety plans, and accurate reports.
- Build fire strategies for various type of buildings.
- Understand and interpret any related non-commonly used codes and standards.
- Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and structural disciplines to ensure fully integrated design.
- Prepare related technical fire safety reports and presentations.
- Lead Communication between the technical team and clients, consultants, authorities, and all related stake-holders.
- Follow up on the related fire safety submissions and processes with stake holders and authorities to get all required approvals.
Education:Bachelor Degree in Architecture Engineering.Experience:Minimum 5 years in the field of fire engineering. Skills:Proven track of record in conducting different types of large-scale & complex projects, contributing as a consultant.A solid understanding of the fire / life safety codes (NFPA-IFC-Egyptian fire code-QCDD-UAE Fire code, GCC fire code, etc) Ability to write technical reports related to the field of fire engineering.Gulf Countries experience is preferred.Excellent written and spoken skills in both Arabic & English.Experience in working with CAD & Revit.
