Job Description

Our company is seeking to hire an operations manager to join our leadership team. You will be in charge of providing inspired leadership for the operation of one of our organization's lines of business, which involves making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. You will also be assisting with recruiting, when necessary, and help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the food delivery service, ensuring efficiency and timely deliveries.
2. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to optimize delivery processes.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, customer support, and technology, to enhance overall delivery performance.
4. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
5. Coordinate with restaurant partners and couriers to streamline communication and address operational challenges.
6. Optimize delivery routes and schedules to maximize resource utilization and minimize delivery times.
7. Conduct regular performance reviews of delivery personnel, providing constructive feedback and support for professional development.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, staying informed about changes that may impact operations.
9. Manage relationships with third-party vendors, negotiating contracts and evaluating performance to ensure service quality.
10. Implement and maintain effective quality control measures to uphold food safety standards throughout the delivery process.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
2. Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the food delivery or logistics industry.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle diverse responsibilities simultaneously.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in using relevant software and technology tools for route optimization and performance analysis.
7. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward operational excellence.
8. Understanding of food safety regulations and industry compliance standards.
9. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to address operational needs.
10. Proactive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
