The Clinical Pharmacist ensures the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications for oncology patients. Key Responsibilities

• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding medication use, side effects, and interactions.
• Conduct medication therapy management and review patient medication profiles for potential drug interactions or contraindications.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements for the handling and administration of chemotherapeutic agents.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medication use, side effects, and adherence strategies.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust medications as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with oncology pharmacy regulations, policies, and safety standards.
• Stay updated on advancements in oncology medications, treatments, and emerging therapies.
• Assist in managing and maintaining oncology medication inventory.
