Data Entry

  • Transfer data from paper formats or coming requests into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
  • Type in data provided directly from peers
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents
  • Update existing data
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree is a plus).Previous experience in data entry or a similar administrative role preferred.Fast and accurate typing skills.Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and other data entry software.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Basic understanding of database management and ERP systems is a plus.
