WordPress & Shopify Developer
We’re looking for a skilled WordPress and Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing both WordPress and Shopify websites, ensuring high performance and seamless functionality. You’ll work closely with designers, project managers, and fellow developers to create tailored, innovative web solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes, plugins, and Shopify stores.
• Optimize website speed, performance, and scalability for an exceptional user experience.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to bring website features and layouts to life.
• Implement third-party integrations, APIs, and custom functionalities.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility for all projects.
• Manage updates, backups, and overall maintenance of WordPress and Shopify sites.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices for WordPress and Shopify.
• Deliver solutions aligned with client requirements while adhering to project timelines.
• Apply SEO strategies to enhance website visibility and search performance.
• 1-3 years of experience in WordPress and Shopify development.• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for custom development.• Experience with Liquid for Shopify theme customization.• Familiarity with Shopify APIs, WordPress REST API, and third-party integrations.• Hands-on experience in building and customizing themes, plugins, and apps.• Knowledge of SEO best practices, website performance optimization, and security.• Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues across different browsers and devices.• Experience working with page builders like Elementor, Gutenberg, or Shopify’s theme editor.• Understanding of e-commerce functionality, payment gateways, and order management.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.• Basic knowledge of Git or version control systems is a plus.• A portfolio showcasing previous WordPress and Shopify projects.
