A. GENERAL PURPOSE
The Park Maintenance Manager performs duties necessary to manage the daily operations of the Parks Maintenance dept , common areas, open spaces, irrigation network , fountains 7 electro mechanical equipments .
This position is also responsible for the planning, coordination, scheduling, and supervision of Parks Maintenance employees in assigned, regularly scheduled, or special event duties; construction projects; and activities for landscaping, maintenance, and irrigation of AlAzhar park, common areas, and facilities.
This position is also responsible for ensuring safety of the Park grounds to visitors , open spaces, and that facilities are made accessible to the public.
B. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the hiring, training, and evaluation of all Park Maintenance employees.
2. Reviews and approves attendance and timesheets for all Park Maintenance employees before sending them to the HR dept.
3. Serves as support role to fellow Park Maintenance Workers and leads by example.
4. Works with AlAzhar Park deputy Manager and operations Manager with scheduling Park Maintenance tours for optimal facility coverage, shift performance, and support during large events.
5. Conducts annual performance reviews for all Park Maintenance employees with assistance from the Ranch Park Manager and Ranch Park Assistant Manager.
6. Performs daily walk-through duties viewing the parks and facilities with a scrutinizing, detail-oriented lens.
7. Manages all heavy equipment operation safety training and record keeping for Park
8. Performs general daily maintenance duties and coordinates larger maintenance needs.
9. Is visible and available to assist during department programs and events.
10. Responsible for all Park irrigation network and its maintenance .
11. Responsible for all Park fountains and its maintenance .
12. Responsible for all Parks Civil works needed .
13. Reports all issues and concerns to Parks GM .
14. Assists in development of annual maintenance, facilities, and equipment budget.
Proven experience as maintenance manager or other managerial roleExperience in planning maintenance operationsSolid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipmentAbility to keep track of and report on activityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational and leadership abilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantageValid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus
