Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop and implement ‘best practice’ procurement policy and be a reference point for policy advice.
- Manage whole of Corporation contracts performance through the statistical data and contract complaints Database.
- Develop and implement effective procurement and contract management processes and procedures.
- Provide supervisory and leadership to the procurement and contract services team.
- Undertake the tendering, evaluation, placement and monitoring of contracts.
- Assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors, to promote good procurement practice with ethical purchasing standards.
- To ensure that contracts are procured and awarded.
- Promotion of effective procurement throughout the organization and particular take the lead in managing the Procurement database and identifying opportunities of collaboration with other public sector organizations.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library/database of standard contracts plus bespoke contracts, clauses and amendments, and thereby advise project managers of suitability of specific contracts to best meet project needs and reduce financial risk.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.7+ years of experience in Wood works and furniture factories.Very good knowledge and excellent user of MS Office and internet researches.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with different levels of mentalities.Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, read and interpret data, information and documents; analyze and solve complex.
