Position Overview: The Sales Director will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the cybersecurity industry and a proven track record in sales and account management. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining and expanding client accounts, and ensuring the successful delivery of our security services. You will work closely with the sales, technical, and customer support teams to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential clients within the cybersecurity space (e.g., businesses, government entities, and educational institutions).
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects through lead generation, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Present our services to potential clients, articulating the value proposition, and addressing client needs.
  • Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with new clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective lead generation campaigns.

Account Management & Client Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and proactive engagement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales and post-sales lifecycle.
  • Understand clients' cybersecurity needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions and advice.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal teams to address any client concerns and issues.
  • Manage renewals, upsells, and cross-sells to existing accounts, identifying new opportunities for expanding services.

Collaboration & Internal Coordination:

  • Work closely with the technical teams to ensure that client requirements are understood and met, and the delivery of security assessments is seamless.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand awareness and market presence.
  • Provide feedback and market insights to help refine service offerings and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in internal meetings to report on sales progress, forecasts, and business development strategies.

Reporting & Performance Tracking:

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and contract details within the CRM system.
  • Monitor sales KPIs and metrics to track performance and ensure targets are met.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.

Industry Knowledge & Continuous Learning:

  • Stay current with the latest trends, threats, and advancements in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Attend training sessions, conferences, and seminars to maintain and enhance professional knowledge.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales and account management, preferably within the cybersecurity or IT services industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, services, and solutions (e.g., penetration testing, network security, threat analysis, etc.).
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of successful sales and account management, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and meet targets.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and internal teams effectively.
  • Relationship Management: Strong client-facing skills and experience in managing long-term customer relationships.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand technical solutions and communicate them to non-technical clients.
  • Education: A degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant sales, business development, or cybersecurity certifications are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or other cybersecurity-related certifications).
