Job Summary:
As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. You will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1-Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company goals and objectives.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and quality.
2-Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
3-Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
4-Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
5-Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, finance, and quality assurance) to align procurement activities with business needs.
6-Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
7-Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.-Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food retail or FMCG industry.-Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and market trends.-Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.-Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
