Senior Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain internal legal policies and procedures to support business operations.
  • Advise senior management on legal matters, including risk assessment, compliance, and governance.
  • Assist in board meetings and prepare necessary legal documentation as required.
  • Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and HR, to align legal strategies with organizational goals.
  • Advise stakeholders on contractual risks, obligations, and opportunities.
  • Oversee and manage all legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel to represent the company's interests in court or other dispute resolution forums.
  • Provide strategic guidance on litigation strategies and settlement negotiations.
  • Ensure the company operates within the legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to the real estate and banking
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate legal risks.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization and ensure timely updates to policies and procedures.
  • Provide legal oversight for the issuance of bonus checks, ensuring alignment with labor laws and corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR teams to ensure transparency and compliance in compensation practices.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements, client contracts, lease agreements, and service-level agreements.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws and company policies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB); a master’s degree or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • 10+ years of legal experience.
  • Proven experience in the real estate, banking, or heavy industries is highly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of litigation processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex legal issues.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the legal landscape in relevant industries.
