Job Summary:
The Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including faculty, staff, and administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in payroll systems (SAP/Oracle), advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of HR practices. This role will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local tax laws, labor regulations, and university policies.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, benefits, deductions, and bonuses.
- Review payroll data for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all necessary adjustments are made.
- Ensure full compliance with Egyptian tax laws, labor regulations, and institutional policies.
- Prepare and review payroll-related reports, including tax filings, statutory deductions, and end-of-service benefits.
- Utilize advanced Excel features (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.) to analyze payroll data and generate required reports.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure payroll data is integrated correctly and any issues are promptly addressed.
- Provide support to employees regarding payroll-related queries, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
Job Requirements:
- BA in Bus. Administration, Accounting, or a related field (HR certification or diploma is a plus).
- At least 5 years of experience in payroll processing, ideally in a large-scale organization or higher education setting.
- Strong experience with payroll systems, (SAP/Oracle) or other HRIS software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.) for data analysis and reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards in Egypt.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal departments and provide clear support to employees.
Working Conditions:
Work location: FUE Campus - New Cairo.
Working days: 5 days.
(English & Excel exams will be conducted on-site prior to hiring)
