KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Participate in implementing Project Management Information System (PMIS) to provide automated project reporting and issues/risk follow up mechanism & provide standard reporting and dashboard framework for both project managers & senior management
- Ensures projects are supplied with the needed resources/ skills internally or outsourced as per Budget plans (MEP)
- Motivates the team members and analyses their performance and recommend for incentives/rewards.
- Implement/ follow consistent project management processes and best practices, and controls throughout the projects that ensure involvement of all stakeholders including IT quality & information security teams.
- Facilitation, coaching, guiding, and assisting to project managers and team members in using project management processes (planning, executing, monitoring, reporting, etc) and standards.
- Prepare and manager projects budgets (MEP) and expenditures OPEX, CAPEX. What utilized, remaining, according to schedule.
- Manage/ report the project progress to ensure that optimum performance is achieved.
- Oversees the project interdependencies and reflect the uncontrolled ones into the risk register.
- Participate in the yearly budget for all IT projects and monitor costs
- Monitors and controls the project constraints such as project scope, deliverables, budget/cost, time and recommends/take necessary corrective actions in case of any deviation. Build and track risk register for each project to be reflected in PMO dashboard
- Conduct projects internal reviews to identify lessons learnt to be shared as part of project management common practices.
- Lead the project handover to IT operational teams including all deliverables and ensure roles & responsibilities are in place.
- Ensure compliance with IT quality, IT service management, information security framework and overall IT architecture requirements
- Provide regular and on demand management reporting on projects progress/performance and financial management.
- Establish/improve and enforce Project Management processes, practices, controls, tools and techniques required for projects to ensure consistent data collection, coordination and reporting.
- Manage IT projects to meet the pre-set scope, budgets and timelines
- And any other assigned tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of computer science or computer engineering or business administration
- 5 years of experience as Project Manager at least 2 years PMO management banking or financial institution.
- Previous PMS project experience is a must.
Job specific Skills:
- Project management certificate is a must
- Project risk management and program management studies is a plus
- Good understanding of business cycles in various banking units.
