Dental Stores Control Officer for 8-Clinic Dental Center and Attached Dental Lab:
1. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory of dental supplies, equipment, and materials for 8 clinics and the attached dental lab, ensuring all locations have necessary stock.
2. Receiving and Distribution: Receive products from the main inventory, distribute them to clinics and the lab based on needs, and keep detailed records.
3. Stock Level Monitoring: Regularly monitor stock levels across clinics and the lab to prevent shortages and maintain adequate inventory.
4. Inventory Tracking: Use inventory management software to track stock, update usage data, and keep accurate records for clinics and the lab.
5. Demand Forecasting: Forecast inventory needs for each clinic and the lab based on usage trends and prepare requests accordingly.
6. Quality Control: Inspect received supplies to ensure they meet quality standards and requirements before distribution.
7. Storage Organization: Organize and maintain the central storage area, with dedicated sections for clinic and lab supplies to enable efficient access and minimize loss.
8. Management of Dental Accessories: Maintain responsibility for the storage of shared dental accessories used by clinics. Ensure all accessories are properly sterilized, stored, and accounted for to prevent loss or misplacement.
9. Instrument Distribution: Oversee the distribution of dental instruments to clinics, ensuring adequate availability at each location and preventing shortages. Track usage and monitor stock levels to maintain a balanced distribution.
10. Periodic and random Audits: Conduct regular (periodic) and random audits to verify stock accuracy, prevent discrepancies, and ensure accountability across clinics and the lab.
11. Reporting: Generate regular inventory reports, usage summaries, and forecast updates for the manager, along with any additional reports requested.
12. Other Duties as Assigned: Assist with any additional tasks or special projects, such as emergency restocking or budget tracking, as directed by management.
1. Educational Background: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, inventory control, healthcare management, or a related field.2. Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in inventory or store control with a maximum age of 30 is a must, preferably within a healthcare, dental, or clinical setting.3. Inventory Management Skills: Strong understanding of inventory management and distribution, including familiarity with inventory tracking software.4. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping, quality control, and accountability.5. Organization Skills: Ability to organize and maintain storage areas, handle multiple clinics’ requirements, and manage inventory for both general supplies and sterilized accessories.6.
