Job purpose
As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the organization’s financial operations, internal controls, and compliance with regulations. This includes conducting detailed audits, identifying risks or inefficiencies, and providing recommendations to enhance processes and safeguard company assets. The role plays a critical part in ensuring transparency, accuracy, and adherence to financial and operational standards.
Duties and responsibilities
- Reviewing contractors' statements.
- Auditing financial advances.
- Verifying issued checks.
- Auditing treasury disbursement authorizations.
- Reviewing accrual entries.
- Verifying (internal and external) transfers.
- Auditing treasury records and payment receipts.
- Ensuring supplier entries comply with regulations.
- Reviewing client refunds.
- Auditing financial settlements for sites.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience as an Internal Auditor or in a similar role, preferably within the construction field.CIA is preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Fluent In English
