Job Summary: The Junior Payroll & Personnel Specialist will assist in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining employee records, and supporting various personnel management tasks. This position involves data entry, compliance with relevant regulations, and providing administrative support to the HR and payroll teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees, ensuring all pay is correct and on time.
- Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate records of employee information, including personal details, employment history, and benefits enrollment.
- Timecard Management: Review and verify employee time records for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Benefit Administration: Assist in managing employee benefits such as health insurance, and paid time off.
- Compliance: Ensure payroll and personnel practices comply with relevant laws, including tax regulations, labor laws, and company policies.
- Reporting: Assist in generating payroll-related reports and other HR-related documentation as required.
- Communication: Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and personnel matters in a professional and timely manner.
- Recordkeeping: Maintain confidential employee records and ensure proper filing and organization of documents.
- Data Entry: Accurately input and update employee data into the HR and payroll systems.
Skills and Qualifications:Associate’s degree in HR, Business, or related field is a plus.SAP User.Previous experience in payroll, HR, or administration is an advantage.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Good understanding of payroll processing and labor laws.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Good communication and interpersonal skills.
