GL Senior Accountant

· Oversees the daily accounting activities required to maintain the Authority's general ledger.
· Supervise, direct and review the work (including, but not limited to, cash reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, accounts, receivable transactions, debt activity, recording of revenue and Expenses, etc.).
· Cash management (including placement / movement of fund in various trusts).
· Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.
· Resolve complex accounting issues or assists other Authority personnel in resolving financial issues.
· Responsible for daily finance and accounts operations.
· Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
· Perform project cost forecast/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
· Reviews general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of posting.
· Responsible for financial reports involving the Authority's trust accounts for monthly.
· Responsible for quarterly and annual financial statements and hoc financial reports.
· Assist as required the head of financial accounting with management of the transaction processing teams.
