Sr. System Analyst

 

  • Analyze current government software systems and processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend and design software solutions that align with governmental objectives and regulations.
  • Ensure that systems are robust and capable of addressing diverse business scenarios across various governmental functions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government officials, IT departments, and end-users, to understand their software needs.
  • Document and translate business and regulatory requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Draft and maintain comprehensive Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) and Business Requirements Documents (BRD) to guide development and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Identify and prioritize use cases to ensure all critical business scenarios are addressed effectively.
  • Design system architecture and workflows tailored to government operations, ensuring compatibility with diverse business contexts.
  • Work with software development teams to ensure the proposed solutions are effectively implemented and tested.
  • Oversee system testing to validate that solutions meet user needs, compliance standards, and all anticipated business scenarios.
  • Identify and resolve any bugs or issues during the testing phase.
  • Ensure software solutions adhere to local regulations, legal frameworks, and cultural sensitivities in Arabic-speaking countries.
  • Adapt systems to address specific requirements unique to the Middle Eastern governance context.
  • Provide ongoing system support and troubleshooting for government staff.
  • Develop user manuals and conduct training sessions to ensure effective system adoption.
  • Assist in managing software development projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Provide regular updates and reports to governmental stakeholders.


Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Advanced certifications in System Analysis, Software Architecture, or Project Management (e.g., PMP, CBAP) are a plus.3-5 years of experience as a Software System Analyst, with a focus on government or public sector projects preferred.Proven expertise in software design, system architecture, and database management.Proficiency in system analysis tools, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and modeling tools such as UML or BPMN.Experience with enterprise-grade software (e.g., ERP, CRM) and databases.Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks is an advantage.Proven ability to draft detailed SRS and BRD documents to support project requirements.
