Technical Support Manager "Construction Chemicals"

  • Maintain, drive, supervise and implement robust technical standards, systems and processes.
  • Influence technology strategies and decisions with a high-level of expertise and knowledge
  • Provide direction and support to ensure compliance with relevant legislative specifications and standards.
  • Lead a team of staff developing products, and address training needs when necessary.
  • Coordinate the regular testing of products to address faults and provide evaluations in order to improve them.
  • Act as a key contact with customers who have technical issues.
  • Carry out trials on the customers and projects sites and help them find the best solutions that meet their needs. 
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by providing the clients with the right solutions and helping sales teams close deals.
  • Increase the company brand awareness and boost its presence in the market. 
  • Increase client intimacy and trust.
  • Provide daily on-the-ground support to clients and sales teams.
  • Create and ensure accuracy of technical data provided by the company (TDS, MSDS, trials report, etc.) 
  • Build and manage relationships with institutions and 3rd parties in relation with our business.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to help build R&D plans. 
  • Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Meet with customers to discuss their needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them.
  • collaborate with other services (finance, R&D, production, supply-chain, HR, admin) to provide our customers with the best quality service and solutions, and increase the company’s revenue and improve image.
  • Provide competitive intelligence. Build and perpetually update the market competitive scheme.
  • Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications, and competition
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. 
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Minimum 8 years of Technical, Operations, R&D or Sales experience in construction chemicals, cement business, concrete business, building materials, etc is a MUST.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Strong knowledge of technical standards, systems, and processes.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
