- Assist in evaluating new business and renewal submissions, including gathering and analyzing relevant data.
- Support the preparation of underwriting recommendations and proposals for decision-making.

- Review survey reports and other risk documentation to assess exposures and recommend risk improvements.
- Assist in calculating adequate premiums by analyzing property characteristics, loss history, and risk mitigation measures."
- Prepare policy documents, endorsements, and quotations as directed.
- Monitor and ensure accurate and timely issuance of insurance policies and endorsements."
- Maintain and update underwriting records, databases, and files.

- Work closely with the senior underwriters to handle complex cases.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as claims, risk engineering, and reinsurance, as needed."
- Assist in reviewing and following up on risk improvement recommendations for insured properties.
- Collaborate with risk engineers to ensure compliance with underwriting standards and guidelines."
- Assist in ensuring adherence to treaty capacity and compliance with reinsurance guidelines.
- Liaise with reinsurers for facultative support, as needed."
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on underwriting activities and performance metrics."
Internship or 1–2 years in insurance underwriting or a related field is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in insurance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
