Job Description
We are a start-up export company specializing in connecting Egyptian sellers with international buyers. Our focus is on high-quality Egyptian products, including organic and natural goods, textiles, packaging solutions, and other key categories. Our mission is to ensure sellers provide competitive pricing, excellent customer service, and on-time delivery to thrive in the global market.
We are seeking motivated Business Developers to expand our seller network and onboard them onto our subscription-based platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring sellers understand their responsibilities and meet the high standards required for international trade. This is a remote job, you will be on the road and working from home.
Key Responsibilities
Seller Onboarding & Relationship Management
- Identify quality-focused sellers with competitive pricing across diverse product categories and subscribe them to our platform.
- Conduct onboarding sessions to guide sellers through the setup of their profiles and listings.
- Educate sellers on:
- The importance of timely responses to customer inquiries (within minutes or a maximum of 24 hours).
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Ensuring prompt and reliable shipping.
Product Listing & Content Management
- Assist sellers in creating professional profiles and listings with accurate product descriptions and specifications.
- Ensure the upload of high-quality product images and videos.
- Regularly update profiles with new product photos, offers, and updated details.
Market Research & Seller Support
- Research global market trends to identify high-demand products and align seller offerings with those trends.
- Provide ongoing support to sellers, addressing their questions and resolving any challenges.
- Offer guidance on packaging, pricing, and product presentation to attract international buyers.
- Manage your portfolio of sellers efficiently.
Customer Service Advocacy
- Reinforce the importance of exceptional customer service:
- Responding to buyers promptly.
- Handling complaints and inquiries professionally.
- Building trust and encouraging repeat business.
Shipping & Logistics Coordination
- Work with sellers to ensure timely and efficient shipment of orders.
- Address potential shipping delays or issues proactively.
- Educate sellers on packaging standards for international shipping.
Compliance & Documentation
- Verify that sellers meet compliance standards for exporting goods, including quality and certification requirements.
- Assist in preparing export documentation and invoices to ensure smooth transactions.
Training & Development
- Provide training on best practices for e-commerce, international trade, and seller-buyer communication.
- Regularly update sellers on market trends and new tools to improve their competitiveness.
Job RequirementsEssential Qualifications:2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or e-commerce.
