As a Senior Design Development Engineer at Al Marasem Group, you will play a crucial role in the development and refinement of architectural design solutions for our construction projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate project requirements into innovative and feasible design concepts. This role requires a strong foundation in architectural engineering principles, creative problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality design outcomes. 

Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:

• Collaborate with architects and project stakeholders to develop and refine architectural design concepts, ensuring alignment with project objectives and requirements. Conduct feasibility studies, site analyses, and programming exercises to inform design decisions and solutions.
• Translate design concepts into detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and models using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software tools. Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other specialists to integrate technical requirements and systems into the design.
• Research, evaluate, and specify materials, finishes, and architectural elements for construction projects, considering factors such as aesthetics, performance, and sustainability. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source and procure materials that meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Review design drawings, models, and specifications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Coordinate design reviews and workshops with project team members and consultants to resolve conflicts and optimize design solutions.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, schedules, and specifications, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Develop visual presentations, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Produce marketing materials and 3D shots from design drawings using computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD, 3D Max, and Photoshop. Create compelling visual content to showcase design concepts and project features for marketing and promotional purposes.
• Ensure that architectural design solutions comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, conducting thorough reviews and audits as necessary. Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to maintain the highest standards of design integrity and performance.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate design implementation and resolve technical issues or challenges. Facilitate regular meetings and communications to ensure alignment and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in architectural design and construction, exploring opportunities for innovation and improvement. Proactively identify areas for process optimization and design innovation, contributing to the enhancement of design practices and outcomes.
