Senior IT Technical Support Engineer

  • The role involves configuring and setting up computer systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical challenges to ensure optimal operation of systems and applications.
  • Responsible for overseeing the performance, upkeep, and improvement of computer systems and networks.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Monitor, maintain, and proactively manage computer systems and network infrastructure.
  • Replace hardware components when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot system and network-related problems and resolve hardware or software issues.
  • Manage the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of showroom networks.
  • Address and resolve user issues efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to service requests within agreed timeframes.
  • Focus on task completion until the resolution of issues.
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues and professionals.
  • Manage the creation of new user accounts, profiles, and handle password-related matters.
  • Provide comprehensive support, including documentation and reports.
  • Assist with the deployment of new software applications or updates.
  • Test and evaluate emerging technologies.
  • Install and troubleshoot customer counting systems and associated devices.
  • Maintain records of hardware/software and keep documentation updated.
  • Access online resources such as software updates, drivers, and knowledge bases to aid in troubleshooting.
  • Manage the day-to-day functionality of computer systems while maximizing user efficiency.
  • Perform other duties related to the role as needed.
