- Deal with shipping lines, customs Brokers, and truckers: (Negotiate to get the best prices for Ocean freight, trucking, Customs, carrier services, and insurance).
- Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests.
- Track orders to ensure timely deliveries.
- Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading).
- Coordinate the production plan with the loading plan.
- Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers.
- Provide information to customers about the status of their orders.
- Follow up e-mail to receive requests for quotations, find suitable offers and send them to clients.
- Follow up on all operations received by the department according to the leader instruction.
- Finding appropriate solutions to the obstacles and problems that occur during the shipping process.
- Track the movement of goods and logistical services such as delivery times, freight movement, and transportation.
- Preparing a daily, weekly and monthly report to be presented to the team leader.
- Accepting the exchange of team roles between departments (import & export).
- Follow up on operations according to each country (time difference).
- Pricing of export shipments, whether sea, air or land.
- Booking shipments, whether online or by e-mail.
- Coordination with truckers to get in the containers.
- Coordination with customs clearance team to ensure the completion of customs procedures for shipments.
- Make the S/I for shipments and VGM.
- Follow up the arrival and exit of vessels and follow up the shipping line to receive bills and the B.L
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field. 3-6 years of experience in logistics, international trade, or export management.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and optimize logistics processes.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong negotiation skills when dealing with logistics providers, customs authorities, and other stakeholders.
