- We seek a highly motivated and results-oriented Planning Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team.
In this critical role, you will optimize production schedules, ensure on-time delivery, and maximize efficiency across our operations.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Inventory, Procurement, and Quality Control, to ensure seamless production flow and achieve key performance objectives.
Production Planning & Scheduling: - Develop and execute detailed production schedules aligned with customer orders, production capacity, and material availability.
- Monitor and control order progress, proactively identifying and mitigating potential bottlenecks (e.g., material shortages, machine breakdowns).
- Conduct real-time schedule adjustments to respond effectively to unforeseen disruptions.
- Optimize resource allocation (labor, equipment, materials) to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
Inventory Management: - Collaborate with the Inventory team to ensure adequate material availability for production.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts while avoiding excessive inventory.
- Coordinate with Procurement for timely material replenishment.
Process Improvement: - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Leverage lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Data Analysis & Reporting: - Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time delivery, production lead times, resource utilization, and production costs.
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate production performance to management.
Cross-functional Collaboration: - Effectively communicate production plans and status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow and achieve common goals.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.2-4 years of experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.Proven experience in [PVC manufacturing, home appliances] is highly preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle).Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
