Technical Marketing Engineer

  1. Product Messaging & Positioning:
    • Develop clear and concise messaging for technical products, ensuring they are aligned with customer needs and the broader market.
    • Work with product managers and engineers to understand features and benefits, translating them into compelling value propositions.
  2. Sales Enablement:
    • Support the sales team by providing technical training, demos, and tools that help them sell more effectively.
    • Develop collateral (e.g., white papers, case studies, presentations) that communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.
  3. Customer & Market Insights:
    • Gather customer feedback to help refine product features and communicate how they solve specific customer problems.
    • Stay up to date on market trends, competitive products, and customer needs to ensure that marketing strategies are relevant and effective.
  4. Technical Demonstrations & Presentations:
    • Deliver technical presentations, webinars, and demos to both internal and external audiences (e.g., customers, prospects, and industry analysts).
    • Help create live or recorded demonstrations to highlight product capabilities in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Content Creation:
    • Create and manage technical content such as blog posts, product datasheets, FAQs, and technical documentation.
    • Produce training materials for customers and internal teams on how to use products or solutions effectively.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with product management, sales, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure alignment between technical capabilities and marketing objectives.
    • Provide feedback from the field to product development to help shape future product iterations or new features.
  7. Customer Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Act as a liaison between customers and the engineering team, helping to solve technical issues or concerns that arise in the sales or implementation process.
    • Provide post-sales technical support to ensure customers are successful with the product.
