Compliance Manager

  • Manage the development and implementation of the organization’s Code of Conduct and policies related to compliance, including Anti-Bribery, Business Expenses, and Government Tender Activities, ensuring they align with laws and ethical standards.
  • Manage the development and delivery of a comprehensive training plan on compliance and ethics for employees and oversee the implementation of compliance acknowledgement/certification processes to ensure understanding and adherence to the Code of Conduct and policies.
  • Manage the creation and execution of detailed compliance monitoring programs to ensure employee activities and company operations comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements, including the periodic review of business expenses and disbursements.
  • Manage the establishment of processes for reporting potential compliance incidents and managing investigations, ensuring mechanisms are in place for secure employee reporting (whistleblowing), protection against retaliation, and thorough investigation of violations.
  • Manage the development of processes for screening and reviewing third parties and employees for potential conflicts of interest or reputational risks and manage compliance requirements during compliance reviews and reports by company partners.
  • Responsible for monitoring external regulations and legislative changes to proactively identify compliance risks. Direct the implementation of necessary updates to organizational policies and practices to ensure alignment with new regulatory requirements, thereby mitigating compliance risks effectively.
  • Lead compliance team in charge with compliance operations specifically for management of escalations arising from sanctions, transaction monitoring, and onboarding operations and associated internal and external reporting.
  • Lead compliance team by setting individual and team goals to be contributory to department and organizational goals.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Law, Business, or Finance.10+ years in Compliance, at least 6+ years in a managerial position.Leadership Skills.Communication, Problem-Solving, Planning, Decision-Making and Strategic Thinking Skills.Financial Acumen.A background in banking or insurance (healthcare experience is a plus).Relevant compliance certifications such as CCO, CCP, CME1/2, etc.
