Strategic Planning & Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with company’s overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and identify potential suppliers and logistics partners.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Procurement & Sourcing:
- Manage the entire procurement process, from identifying needs to negotiating contracts and issuing purchase orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and components while maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and implement supplier performance evaluation systems.
Logistics & Warehousing:
- Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize holding costs and maximize customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and procedures within the Free Zone.
Inventory Management:
- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
- Implement demand forecasting and planning techniques to optimize inventory levels.
- Manage the disposal of obsolete or excess inventory.
Customer Service:
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to supply chain issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Education & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field requiredMBA or professional certification in supply chain preferredMinimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within related industry.Professional certifications in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, SCOR-P).Familiarity with free zone laws, customs regulations, and international trade practices.Personal SkillsAbility to make timely and informed decisions, even under pressure.Takes ownership of their actions and the performance of their team.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation of complex concepts.
