Duties & Responsibilities:
- Project delivery of the Electrical Discipline (Power LV & ELV Systems).
- Ability to handle all daily site works with the contractor, site works/material inspection, reply to RFI, raise NCR, review material submittals/shop drawings, …etc.
- Check correctness of all produced reports, drawings, calculations etc.
- Check and comment on BOQ prepared by others.
- Coordinate with all other disciplines, in particular mechanical, structure, and architecture.
- Investigate and recommend on engineering system selection.
- Resolve any technical problems faced during the project construction stages, in coordination with project designer.
- Attend site, coordination & client meetings.
- Handle all correspondence/documents relating to the projects.
- Advise and report to the Site Resident Engineer/Project Manager on the adequacy of the service.
- Stay on top of the regulations and best practice through self-development and on-the-job training.
- Upgrade and maintain the standards and quality of work within Meinhardt.
- Listed duties are not limited and may change as per line manger instructions and demand.
Requirements: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a reputable discipline is a must.12:15 years of proven experience in MEP projects with reputable consultancy firms.Relevant experience in Data Centers is a must, uptime certification would be highly preferred. Skills:Problem solvingAnalytical thinking and site supervision skillsElectrical engineering, excellent knowledge of MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated Proficiency with International Design Codes and StandardsStrong team player and able to work independently.
