Duties & Responsibilities:

• Be able to motivate and lead professional teams to deliver client solutions.
• Conduct early-stage option analysis, strategy setting and critical review of the client brief to develop the optimum design solution at the early stage of the project
•  Manage a team of engineers in diverse geographical locations to deliver the project in line with the project program and available costs
• Liaise with the Technical Director and project Director, and other stakeholders on progress, risks, and commercial position.
• Extensive understanding of local authority requirements in UAE, KSA, and other countries.
• Set design criteria, perform, review design calculation and drawings for electrical system.
• Be able to do all electrical services design including calculation, markups for layouts and schematics for BIM technicians
• Ensure concept and sketch designs are approved from Technical Director before progressing to next stage.
• Be able to carry out feasibility study.
• Control scope of work in relation to fees, manage the work within cost to complete.
• Be able to do the continuous update in standards details, specification, and calculation format etc.
• Resolve any technical problems faced during the project design and/or construction stages.

RequirementsDegree in BEng/BSc/BE/B. Tech or master’s in electrical engineering from an accredited university With 5-8 years relevant experience (min 4years in middle east) relevant experience in Buildingn services and Data Centers (preferred).Preferably Chartered Status (CEng), registered with an industry recognized body. Uptime and TIA certification would be highly preferred.Membership to relating professional body in country of origin and local region - CIBSE, IEE, IET orother.Skills:-Experience of working on Highrise, hospitality/hotel and Data center projects would be preferred.Excellent knowledge of MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).An ability to adapt to different working styles and the unique business culture of the Middle East.Experienced in working within teams on multi-disciplinary projects and interacting with a wide range of architectural, engineering and planning disciplines.An energetic and enthusiastic individual who can confidently work with people at all skill levels and grades, with the ability to both works well within a team and independently as required.An ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines is essential.Excellent verbal and written communication skills who ensures smooth communication with all project team and clients.An experience of working with local Middle East codes and standards such as DEWA, ADDC,    KAHRAMMA, SEC, Etisalat, Du, Estidama, SIRA, DM, DCD etc and procedures for Local Authority approvals.Experienced in Electrical design to BS/NEC/CIBSE/NFPA Standards.Proficient in LV & ELV systems modelling and analysis software such as Amtech (or similar),   lighting software (Dialux, Relux, or similar), Lightning Protection (Strike Risk or similar), generator sizer, heat mapping, EASE Address for public address (or similar), …etc.Knowledge of sustainable design, preferably having worked on Estidama, QSAS and LEED certified projects.Awareness of Autodesk Revit and BIM would be advantageous.System overview knowledge of mechanical and public health systems.
