Original International Company, a leading manufacturer of high-quality trailers and semi-trailers, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Foreign Purchasing Manager to join our team in Al-Obour Industrial City. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and components from local and international suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
- Develop and implement a sourcing strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet production requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance.
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable local and international suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Monitor market trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs procedures.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in international procurement / 3 years of experience as a manager.Logistics backgroundStrong negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.Experience with international trade documentation and customs procedures.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP systems (Odoo preferred).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent time management and organization skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
