About the Role:
- The Quality Control Manager will oversee day-to-day quality control, quality management, quality assurance, supplier quality, activities to ensure the highest standards are met. And follow up over the co-manufacturing processes to maintain products compliance with the quality & FS requirement.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Ensure production compliance with all needed specifications.
- Customer Relationship Management regarding Quality issues
- Works with production and customer to determine optimized process settings to assure specified requirements are met
- Manages customer complaint process under the supervision of the Quality Director
Quality System:
- Ensures compliance with all ISO and customer/external audit requirements
- Prepares and successfully completes audits
- Owner of Root Cause Analysis Process by involving relevant departments in developing appropriate corrective action response
- Documents and reports all supplier quality-related issues per documented procedures
- Controls and reports all non-conformance product per documented procedures
- Ensures completion of all customers required testing
- Reports production quality through Certificate of Compliance as specified by the customer
- Responsible for promoting a quality mindset in all plant employees
- Responsible for the control & coordination of rework with the production of all nonconforming product
- Ensures that a signed acceptable color sample which has been compared to approved customer sample is provided for production line at each start-up by Quality Technician
- Trains and supervises all personnel performing quality testing within the quality lab and on the production floor
- Regularly scheduled quality staff meeting
- Ensures team works together as efficiently as possible
- Recruits (with support of Management) and HR Team
- Performs disciplinary actions
- Performs annual Performance Evaluation for quality lab technicians under the guidance of Operations Manager / Plant Manager
- Assesses training needs of staff and ensures the execution of training
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or similar in Quality Management, Science or Engineering10-15 years of quality management experience within Food Production Manufacturing Especially Pulses & Grains Production.Knowledge of ISO & NAFSA quality standards and experience performing quality and food safety system auditsProfessionalism and dedication to excellence in quality and customer careExcellent relationship building skills and communicationProven track of leading people and passion to develop employeesHighly self-motivated and self-drivenProfound MS Office skillsAvailable to Reallocate to Gamasa.Experience with ERP (SAP/ORACLE).Personal Competencies:Communicative, committed, flexible, with excellent professional standards.Reliable, accurate, with attention to detail.Excellent Arabic and English skills.
