1. Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of facilities soft services on site
. 2. Ensure that Catering, Cleaning, Pest Control, Waste management, Laundry and other services maintain legislative and regulatory accreditation for the site.
3. Monitor and resolve staffing issues (payroll, rosters, personal issues) to ensure the blue-collar staff are fully trained and motivated, thus minimizing employee turnover rates and associated disruption to service to the client.
4. Maintain regular contact with the Facility Manager; consult on key decisions and advice on incidents, escalation, and complaints.
5. Responsible for the management and coordination of all soft services contractors working under project scope in public/common and private areas
6. Ensure all Work Orders are completed on time in a safe and effective manner.
7. Monitor sickness absence, annual leave, and overtime and inform Facility Manager of irregularities.
8. Follow safe systems of work, taking reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of others. 9. Eliminating or reducing risks where practicable by complying with site safety rules and instructions and reporting hazards to FM for prompt action.
Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar roleHands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizationsAbility to use industrial cleaning equipment and productsExcellent organizational and team management skillsStamina to handle the physical demands of the jobFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekendsHigh school diploma is a plus
