Job Description 

Job Title:        Junior Accountant

Department:  Finance

Reporting to:  Accounting Supervisor

What you’ll be doing

Treasury Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support the senior accounting staff in various financial operations.

Major Duties:

• Record and maintain financial transactions in accounting software.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements.
• Track receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and discrepancies.
• Verify accuracy of financial data by cross-checking records.
• Support the preparation of tax returns and filings.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies.
• Enter financial data accurately into systems.
• Assist in generating reports for management analysis.
• Maintain organized and updated financial documentation.
• Prepare documentation and assist during internal and external audits.
• Respond to audit inquiries as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, procurement, and operations to optimize cash management.
