Key Responsibilities:
Ensure translations are accurate, contextually appropriate, and culturally sensitive.
- Provide real-time verbal interpretation during meetings, conferences, or phone calls.
- Facilitate communication between Turkish- and English-speaking individuals.
- Review and edit translated materials to ensure linguistic and contextual accuracy.
- Verify grammar, syntax, and style consistency in translated texts.
- Work closely with the managers, clients, or stakeholders to clarify terminology and context.
- Support cross-functional teams by translating key materials to aid communication.
- Advise on cultural nuances to ensure communication aligns with the audience’s expectations.
- Adapt materials for specific cultural or regional differences when necessary
- Maintain records of translated materials for future reference.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Turkish, English, or a related field.Certification in translation or interpretation is a plus.Proven experience as a Turkish-English translator or interpreter.Excellent spoken and verbal communication skills.Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and idiomatic expressions in both languages.Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt to different audiences.High attention to detail and accuracy.
