- Record and track all financial transactions related to site activities, including material purchases, subcontractor payments, and labor costs.
- Monitor the site’s budget and expenditures to ensure adherence to financial plans.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for the site and submit them to the head office.
- Verify and process site-related invoices, receipts, and payment requests.
- Maintain accurate records of petty cash and manage cash disbursements at the site.
- Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions and maintain an organized filing system.
- Identify cost variances and suggest measures to improve financial efficiency.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with site engineers to validate work progress and ensure alignment with payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local financial regulations, and tax requirements.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and explanations.
- Reconcile site accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Act as the financial liaison between the site and the central accounting department.
- Provide timely updates to project managers and site supervisors regarding financial matters.
- Support the payroll team by maintaining accurate records of site labor and overtime.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.2 to 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in construction or site-based roles.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
