Position Overview:
As a Sales Engineer specializing in compressor and blower technologies, you will be responsible for promoting, quoting, and selling a broad range of blowers and compressors to customers across various industries. This role will involve the sale of both simple equipment replacements and complex, fully engineered solutions. Your expertise will be key in identifying the scope of work, estimating customer needs, and ensuring that the appropriate solutions are delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and Sell Blowers and Compressors:
Actively promote and sell a comprehensive range of blowers and compressors, catering to the specific needs of each customer across multiple sectors. - Customer Needs Assessment:
Work closely with customers to understand their technical and operational requirements. Identify the scope of work, and develop tailored solutions based on their needs, ensuring the most effective and efficient compressor or blower technology is recommended. - Turnkey Projects Management:
Manage sales of turnkey projects, from simple equipment replacements to fully engineered solutions. Oversee the entire sales process, from initial contact to final delivery, ensuring smooth project execution. - Estimation and Quoting:
Accurately estimate project costs, and develop competitive and realistic quotes. Provide technical expertise to customers during the quoting process, ensuring clear and thorough communication of all aspects of the offer.
A completed engineering higher education university degree Mechanical engineer (I.e., Masters or Bachelor's degree with final examination).A completed, Business management, commercial or similar degree. At least 4-8 years of experience in a similar role in the same industry, and several years of corresponding professional experience. Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken. Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) salesImpeccable verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with project management methodologiesFamiliarity with the industry including equipment, logistics and supply-chain managementProblem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutionsProficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation softwareAbility and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients
