About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and self-driven senior import logistics executive to join our supply chain team. this role requires a candidate with prior experience in the international logistic and freight management, coupled with a deep understanding of the import procedures in Egypt. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of effectively managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Freight Management: Organize freight and coordinate with suppliers' logistics teams to ensure timely preparation and submission of export documents.
• Financial Liaison: Work with the finance department to ensure all invoices are paid in accordance with supplier agreements along with setting up new suppliers and SKUs in the company database.
• Purchase Order Management: Oversee the creation and management of purchase orders (POs).
• Compliance and Labeling: Ensure all imported SKUs are correctly labeled, including original artworks (AW) from the source or labeling at Mighty Foods' warehouse.
• Regulatory Compliance: Handle all GOEIC 43 registrations and modifications, ensuring compliance with local import regulations.
• Visibility and Tracking: Maintain and update the shipment tracker to provide the sales, operations, and finance teams with real-time visibility on the status of inbound shipments.
• Customs Portal Navigation: Responsible for handling all operations on the Nafeza portal from ACID creation to validating the documents and linking the shipment to its corresponding bank, as well as coordinating with suppliers to navigate through the CargoX platform.
• Customs Coordination: Collaborate closely with customs agents to prevent container overstay at the port and adhere to the shipment timeline as advised by the planning team.

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in international logistics and freight forwarding.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
• Communication: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• ERP Proficiency: Experienced in working with ERP systems.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
