Senior Strategic Communications and Project Specialist

Main Responsibilities

 

 

Project Management:

·        Facilitates coordination between departments, ensures alignment on project goals and fosters effective collaboration.

·        Monitors project progress, proactively addresses potential issues, and escalates concerns to direct manager, as needed.

·        Regularly updates the manager on project status, key milestones, risks, and action items.

·        Applies project management best practices to promote efficient and successful project delivery.

PR Planning:

·        Develops a comprehensive public relations plan for the University President, to enhance visibility, credibility, and public engagement.

·        Proposes a social media strategy to communicate the University President’s messages, initiatives, and values, to be aligned with the university's broader social media guidelines.

·        Collaborates with the Communications office to create content that reflects the President’s voice and mission.

·        Monitors actions and feedback posted on social media channels to provide insights and adjust them, as needed.


 


Education, Professional Knowledge & Experience   ·        Minimum of 6 years of experience in Project management and marketing.·        Proven experience in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.·        Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.·        Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines. Language Skills:Excellent command of English & Arabic Computer Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software programs.
