We’re seeking an experienced OutSystems Team Lead to spearhead our development initiatives, guide a talented team, and ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications using the OutSystems low-code platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of OutSystems developers and operations specialists. Foster a collaborative environment and encourage continuous learning and development.

Platform Management: Oversee the configuration, deployment, and administration of the OutSystems platform. Ensure optimal performance and availability of the platform across all environments.

Operational Excellence: Establish and enforce best practices for platform governance, including security protocols, code quality, version control, and deployment processes.

Incident Management: Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolution of platform-related issues in a timely manner. Work closely with support teams to minimize downtime and service disruptions.

Collaboration: Work closely with development, IT, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure the OutSystems platform meets operational needs for both internal and external stakeholders.

Capacity Planning: Monitor system performance and utilization to plan for scaling and resource optimization, ensuring that the platform is equipped to handle growing workloads.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within the development lifecycle. Propose improvements to processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce operational overhead.

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of platform configurations, operational processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for team reference and knowledge sharing.

Minimum 5 years of experience working with OutSystems, including 3+ years in an operations or leadership role.In-depth knowledge of the OutSystems platform and its capabilities (including web and mobile app development, integrations, and deployments).Experience with managing OutSystems environments (development, testing, production) and handling system administration tasks.Must have good experience in object-oriented programming using C#.Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions on the OutSystems platform and/or equivalent experience in .NET.Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, with a focus on JavaScript and Bootstrap, as well as proficiency in HTML and CSS.Experience with relational databases, including expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries.Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, and security best practices within the OutSystems platform and/or equivalent experience in .NET.Familiarity with various monitoring tools such as AI-Mentor, Discovery, etc.Experience with Agile methodologies and project management practices.Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with experience in setting clear expectations and driving team performance.Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
