Job Summary:
The Junior Cost Control Engineer will assist in monitoring and managing project costs to ensure they remain within the approved budget. This role involves supporting senior team members in preparing cost reports, analyzing variances, and maintaining financial records for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing project budgets and cost estimates.
- Monitor project expenditures and compare them with the approved budget.
- Prepare cost tracking and variance reports for review by senior engineers.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of project financials, including invoices, purchase orders, and contracts.
- Support in analyzing risks and forecasting project costs.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.1-3 years of experience in cost control or a related role.Familiarity with cost control tools and software (e.g., Primavera, MS Excel).Strong analytical and numerical skills.Good communication and organizational abilities.Familiar with ERP system.
