Position Overview:

Hexing Group, a leading Chinese company operating in over 90 countries, is looking for a talented Presales/Product Manager specializing in water meters to join our dynamic team in the MENA region. Based in Cairo, Egypt, this role involves driving presales activities, managing water meter products, and supporting business development efforts in the region. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in the water metering industry and the technical acumen to lead customer engagements and product strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Presales Support:

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical support during the sales process.
• Prepare and deliver customized technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations for customers in the MENA region.
• Support the tendering process by preparing comprehensive technical and commercial documents.
• Assist in contract negotiations by providing technical input to meet client requirements.

Product Management:

• Oversee the water meter product line for the MENA region, ensuring products meet customer needs and align with market trends.
• Act as a channel between the R&D team in China and regional sales teams to tailor product specifications to MENA requirements.
• Monitor product performance in the field and coordinate with internal teams to address technical challenges.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including catalogs, brochures, and manuals.

Market Engagement & Sales Enablement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, distributors, and regulatory authorities.
• Represent Hexing at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote water meter solutions.
• Train internal teams and clients on product features and usage while gathering market intelligence to support sales strategies.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in the water metering or water purification industry.
• Experience working in presales, product management, or technical support for water meters is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Strong technical understanding of water meter technologies, including mechanical, prepaid, and smart meters.
• Proven track record in sales, business development, and product management.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English is required.
