- Create and refine CAM programs for CNC machines to ensure precise and efficient production of components.
- Analyze and optimize tool paths for machining operations to enhance speed and reduce cycle times while maintaining high-quality standards. This includes adjusting parameters and simulating processes before actual production.
- Work closely with product designers and engineers to understand design intent and material requirements, ensuring seamless integration of CAM processes.
- Oversee the setup and calibration of CNC machines to ensure they operate according to specifications and tolerances. This includes selecting appropriate tools and fixtures for each job.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in CAM and manufacturing. Engage in continuous learning to support the development of innovative solutions and improve existing processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design and Production Engineering.3-5 years of experience in CNC machining and metalworking processes.Working knowledge of CAM programming software, such as Inventor CAM or Fusion 360 CAM, for Fanuc and Heidenhain CNC controls.Strong knowledge of cutting tools and machining process optimization.Expertise in CAD 3D modeling and 2D shop drawing.Experience in designing jigs and fixtures for machining.In-depth understanding of GD&T, including interpretation, application, and measurement.Excellent command of English, with strong teamwork, fast learning, presentation, communication, and multitasking skills.
