- Act as a single point of contact across multiple site environments, managing relationships with external suppliers and the in-house team for the delivery of hard and soft services, whilst ensuring the highest possible standards are delivered by providing technical leadership and mentoring.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities in the buildings, with daily inspections of buildings infrastructure to determine the need for repairs or maintenance.
- Manage all facility staff operations and functions for assigned facilities and service vendors including, but not limited to, maintenance and repair of buildings, preventative maintenance programs, reactive maintenance, grounds keeping services, janitorial services, security services and systems, electrical, carpentry, plumbing and HVAC repair and maintenance.
- Continually evaluate the facilities and equipment in the buildings, recommending and implementing building changes/policies where necessary through regular monitoring of key performance indicators and corrective action to ensure the high standards are maintained, and continuously improved.
- Identify ways to balance exceptional service delivery while optimizing costs (e.g., construction, utilities, security patrol, janitorial services, insurance and other areas) through vendor negotiations and service delivery management and advising on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the multiple sites.
- Formulate efficient, cost effective and traceable maintenance methods and procedures.
- Implement a culture of continuous improvement and best practice strategies to ensure a consistently high level of service delivery, response times and contract compliance.
- Responsible for health and safety compliance onsite, including that of third-party service providers, regularly inspecting and auditing all health & safety issues on the premises and maintaining a schedule of required improvements.
- Train, develop and direct maintenance personnel engaged in equipment installation, facilities repair and preventive maintenance, ensuring the team has the tools and training to perform effectively in their positions and guaranteeing the facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations.
- Be available and on call outside normal working hours, to manage incidents and escalations across the properties.
Bachelor degree of Civil or Architecture engineering Min. 3 years of experience within a facilities management and maintenance environmentPrevious hospitality experience; preferably within a 5-star luxury hotel or high-profile residence.High degree and knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and best practice.Strong communication skills and an excellent command of the English language.Proficient in the use of common business software programs.
