Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Engineer at EL-Moasser in Cairo, Egypt. The Network Engineer will be responsible for network administration, troubleshooting, network security, network design, and network engineering tasks on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, etc.
- Configuring routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
- Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Investigating faults in the network and Provide level 2 support
- Arranging scheduled upgrades, performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, and security configurations
- Manage Wi-Fi Connection and configuration
- Managing firewall, policy, and traffic shaping
- Manage Servers (DC – File share – Kaspersky – NAS Storage)
Support at help desk task that exceed due data, or reported to level 2 of support
Network Administration, Network Engineering, and Troubleshooting skillsExperience in Network Security and Network DesignStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of network protocols and technologiesCertifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
