Role purpose:
Technical Lead for Energy infrastructure innovation and delivery of energy efficiency initiatives to meet company NetZero targets including Alternative Fuels, On-site renewables, Electrification of vehicle fleet, Fugitive-gases replacement, Energy Efficiency and Renewable electricity purchasing

Key accountabilities and decision ownership: 
•    Delivery of Technology initiatives for energy consumption reduction in Vodafone Group
•    Technical for Lead strategy and architecture for passive infrastructure (i.e. power, cooling, controls, metering, renewable technologies)
•    Technical Lead for innovation initiatives in passive infrastructure (i.e. renewable generation, controls and metering, flexibility/DSR) 
•    Responsible for technical specifications in RFQ and technical vendor management
•    Deliver technology guidance on energy plan for Europe and Africa
 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
•    Extensive expertise in energy savings initiatives, power/cooling infrastructure
•    Knowledge experience in energy and carbon management and related regulation
•    Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
•    Excellent presentation and communication skills 
•    Experience in leading cross-functional and international teams

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
•    Degree in engineering or equivalent experience
•    Ideally post graduate qualification, e.g. MSc, PhD
