Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership
- Maintain and support the network infrastructure at all technical levels of operation through authorization and delivery of changes implementation related to VFE Tx Access Network targets in accordance with agreed strategic business plans.
- Provide 24/7 Support for Emergency activities and Fixes “restoring down sites”
- Perform Access Transmission Changes on VF Transport network within agreed formats and timescales
- Interact with Technology functional departments continuously for achieving organizational objectives and technical target plans.
- Apply appropriate processes and procedures used by Transmission Access Changes Team members coping with change management rules assuring best customer experience and smooth network operation.
- Activities implementation Quality audit and control through periodic acceptance reports “Percentage of successfully activities accepted”
- Enthusiastically demonstrate a commitment to the VF Code of conduct and Cyber Security.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience
Education
University Graduate, BSc of Engineering in Telecommunications.
Work Experience
A minimum of 4 years of experience in telecom. Field 3 years+ in the transmission operation field.
PC Knowledge
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, MS Projects.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Technical skills
- Excellent knowledge of Network operations environment and standards.
- In-depth knowledge and proficiency in TX access and Backhaul Network concepts and configuration managed for various Vendor Types
- Project Management skills is preferred.
- CCNA or CCNP certification is preferrable.
- Programming Skills is preferrable.
