Role Overview:
The Finishing Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the completion of luxury finishing works, ensuring all tasks are executed to the highest standard and within project timelines. The role involves managing subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and liaising with designers and clients. The candidate should have experience in fit-out projects, with a particular focus on luxury finishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage all site activities related to finishing works, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Supervision of Subcontractors: Manage and monitor subcontractors, ensuring they follow specifications, plans, and schedules.
- Prepare invoices and conduct quantity surveying for all materials and labor required.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of completed works to ensure they meet design and quality standards, especially in luxury finishes such as marble, custom woodwork, and premium paint finishes.
- Resource Management: Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure materials are delivered on time and work is carried out efficiently.
- Client Interaction: Address client concerns on-site, ensuring that their specifications and expectations are met.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Head of Operations regarding project progress, issues, and any necessary changes in plans.
- Problem Solving: Address any on-site challenges swiftly and efficiently to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Compliance: Ensure all works comply with local regulations, health and safety guidelines, and company standards.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering or similar.Experience: 5-8 years of proven experience in finishing site engineering, with minimum 2 years specializing in luxury finishes.Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of materials and techniques used in high-end residential and commercial finishings, such as marble, custom wood finishes, glass, and modern surface treatments.Software Skills: Required: Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, and Word
