SPECIFIC TASKS FOR : (Histopathology chemist) |
1 | Prepare the histopathology stains and receive the requested samples for investigation |
2 | Embed the received tissue samples at paraffin wax and initiate the fixation and dehydration of the tested tissues |
3 | Cut the examined tissue to thin sections known as “Microtomy” by Microtome |
4 | Stain the tissue to highlight important features as well as to enhance the tissue contrast by the specific dyes |
5 | Ensure good storage practices for slides and paraffin blocks and write the concluded results |
