We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team in a remote role with frequent on-site customer visits and engagements. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships by managing accounts and generating new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in software sales and a deep understanding of the energy industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the energy sector.
- Present and demonstrate software solutions to prospective and existing clients.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets and business growth objectives.
- Help organize a comprehensive sales portfolio.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses and potential opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Work on bidding documentation and full fill customers’ requirements.
Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Develop strategic account plans to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and upsell opportunities.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
- Ensuring smooth running of all administrative functions.
- Assist the business in planning, organizing and coordinating functions relating to the operation of the business.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, management, or a related field.3+ years of sales and account management experience, preferably in software or technology solutions.Experience working with clients in the energy, oil & gas, or renewables sector is highly desirable.Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Proven ability to build long-term relationships and close complex deals.Strategic thinking with a client-focused approach.Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools.Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.Excellent social and presentation skills with excellent level of EnglishAbility to prepare presentations, proposals and reports required.Able to work effectively with minimal supervisionJob requires frequent on-site customer visits and engagement.
