As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety. You will lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet the cleanliness expectations of our facilities.
Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise, train, and guide housekeeping staff to maintain productivity and excellence.
- Create daily task assignments, monitor progress, and evaluate performance.
- Build a positive and motivated team culture.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee the implementation of efficient cleaning schedules and processes.
- Maintain inventory and ensure adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Address operational challenges and implement timely solutions.
Standards & Compliance
- Conduct regular inspections to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement quality assurance measures to enhance service delivery.
Client Experience
- Ensure facilities provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients and visitors.
- Act promptly to resolve complaints or issues related to cleanliness and housekeeping.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless operational flow.
Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of housekeeping activities, incidents, and maintenance issues.
- Submit reports on operational performance to the Facilities Manager.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience, especially in a supervisory role in compounds, clubhouses, or hospitality.Strong leadership and organizational abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and housekeeping management systems.Good command of English (spoken and written).
